Biblioteka Analiz (The Library of Analysis) has prepared a report on the Polish book market. At present, there is a lack of comprehensive studies on the market that approximate the functioning of the industry in Poland.
The data on book sales and publishing production are derived from survey results from publishers, from analysis of financial statements and from research conducted by the Library of Analysis.
The analytical part of the report was based on:
- an analysis of the data found in the report, statistical data compiled on the basis of the CSO, Eurostat and the National Library;
- a survey conducted using the CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interwiew) method in June 2024 on a research sample of 1,000 people;
- a survey covering a group of representatives of companies operating in the book industry
